Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician – Naval Medical Center San Diego Location: San Diego, CA Job Type: Full-Time Work Setting: On-site Schedule: Rotating shifts, Sunday–Saturday A to Z Management Consulting is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) and associated Naval Branch Health Clinics throughout the San Diego area. Schedule Pharmacy services are provided Sunday through Saturday between 6:00 AM and 11:30 PM. Shifts are generally 8.5 to 11 hours, including an unpaid 30- or 60-minute meal period. Employees will not be scheduled for more than 80 hours in a two-week period. Employees may have a primary work location but must be willing to support other NMCSD pharmacy locations as needed, including Kearney Mesa, NAB Coronado, MCAS Miramar, NTC, and Eastlake. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program, other formal pharmacy technician program, or U.S. military medical services training program; OR Current, active PTCB certification At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience within the past 3–4 years Responsibilities Process and prepare new and refill prescriptions Count, label, and prepare medications for dispensing Enter prescription orders into pharmacy systems Maintain patient and prescription records Support inventory, ordering, stocking, and restocking Perform drug storage inspections and review expired supplies Produce workload and quality documentation Utilize pharmacy computer and robotic systems Assist patients with general pharmacy questions and refer clinical concerns to the pharmacist The requirement specifically includes prescription processing, dispensing support, inventory management, quality improvement activities, supply duties, and pharmacy computer/robotic systems.

Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist

A to Z Management Consulting is seeking qualified Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) to support Naval Medical Center San Diego. Schedule Services are provided Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Shifts may be 8.5, 9.5, or 10.5 hours and include an unpaid 30- to 60-minute meal period. Employees will not be required to work more than 80 hours in a two-week period. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a medical laboratory science program accredited by NAACLS or ABHES, or another educational program acceptable to AMT; OR Bachelor’s degree in the sciences with an acceptable certification Current certification/registration through ASCP, AMT, or equivalent MLT certification required One year of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience within the past two years is preferred but not required Current BLS certification Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory testing in areas including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, and blood bank Evaluate specimen suitability and prepare specimens for analysis Prepare reagents and reference materials Calibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain laboratory instruments Perform quality-control checks and troubleshoot routine equipment issues Review and correlate analytical data to verify results Maintain quality-control and quality-assurance records Prepare specimens for transport or mail-out Handle biological waste in accordance with required procedures

Anesthesia Technician

Anesthesia Technician – Naval Medical Center San Diego A to Z Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Licensed Anesthesia Technician to support Naval Medical Center San Diego. The Anesthesia Technician will provide anesthesia support services throughout the medical center, including operating rooms and other clinical areas where anesthesia services are required. Minimum Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent *Associate degree or certificate from a program accredited by CAAHEP or approved by CoA-ATE *Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technician training program through CAAHEP, ABHES, AMT, CoA-ATE, or a formal U.S. Armed Forces medical services training program *At least 1 year of Anesthesia Technician experience within the past 2 years *Current national certification as an Anesthesia Technician through ASATT *Current BLS certification Responsibilities *Provide anesthesia support services for surgical and medical procedures *Prepare and support operating rooms and remote anesthesia locations *Maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and documentation *Complete daily code cart/bag checks and room/off-site stocking checklists *Assist with movement of anesthesia equipment and patient transport *Participate in training, professional development, and process improvement *Work collaboratively with anesthesia providers and other clinical staff *Maintain patient safety and support rapid-response clinical needs This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, move anesthesia equipment, and respond accurately in situations with short response times.
